SERVICE LEARNING REQUIRED
As the saying goes, “With knowledge comes power, and with power comes great responsibility”. The School of Cyber Science includes ethics curriculum and stresses the importance of personal and professional responsibility. Students demonstrate their ethics knowledge by participating in service learning and live work projects that benefit our community.

Recent Learning Opportunities

Our students provide asset and inventory management for over 3000+ school based devices. This enables our students to have a working Chromebook and keeps our school in compliance with the district’s Everyone:1 laptop initiative.

Students created a tardy tracking system using Google Sheets. The document tracks multiple offences and color codes for student names at various intervals.
Our students Repair / replace broken Chromebook parts in our Help Desk Operations class. Qualified students also qualify for 3 hours of college credit.


The Kentucky School Board Association partnered with the the School of Cyber Science to provide IT support for their wireless network and mobile conference app.
All of our work is done in house and onsite. We are proud that our digital media is 100% student designed and maintained.


Students setup Raspberry Pi servers to block and remove unnecessary content and advertisements in websites. Internet responsiveness increased 52% in classroom labs.
