Internships are a critical component in transitioning students from the high school classroom to the next step in the cyber security workforce pipeline. Through internships, students gain real-world experience, build their resume, and learn critical workforce skills. Internship opportunities allow students to grow personally and professionally and help individuals transition smoothly from high school to the next stage in their career development.
The Butler Traditional Internship Program is open to students who:
- Are a Junior or Senior at Butler Traditional High School.
- Have completed AT LEAST 2 courses in the cyber security pathway and are CURRENTLY enrolled in a 3rd course.
- Have a PERSONAL recommendation from the Cyber Science instructors.
- Are in good standing with the school in academics, behavior, and attendance.
